Clubs will tentatively begin the week of 9/26/23.  A flyer will be going home on 9/19/23 with details of the offerings.  

Clubs end promptly at 3:30 pm each day unless otherwise stated. 

$50.00 per club

Each year the school puts on a play.  Parts are cast through an audition held in the Auditorium.  Plays can be either a musical or not, it is the choice of the staff member running the play.  

Keep your eye out for information some time in December.

If you like basketball, floor hockey and volleyball….you will love after school intramurals.  Sign ups are in the main office, this is limited to 30 students so don't delay signing up!  You will need to bring in a note stating you may stay attend before the first session.  It is free for all grade levels.

Before School Intramurals in the Gym - October 11, 2023 - December 21, 2023

• 7th & 8th Grade: Wednesdays 7:00 am-7:40 am
• 5th & 6th Grade: Thursdays 7:00 am-7:40 am

Before School Intramurals will begin next week. Students have the opportunity to play various games and sports in the gym before homeroom. Students must sign up on the sheet posted in the gym each week that they would like to attend. A fresh sign up sheet will be posted each Monday morning. Students can be dropped off as early as 7:00 am or come to the gym when the buses unload.

*Please do not drop students off before 7:00 am.

*If there is a 2 hour delay or school cancellation the program is canceled.

Jazz Band

Meets on Monday & Wednesdays

Jazz band is an auditioned ensemble that meets on Mondays and Wednesdays after school until 3:30. We play a selection of Jazz, Pop, Funk, and quite a bit more. We also play in both the Winter and Spring concerts, and I am always on the lookout for additional performance opportunities. There is no cost to join, but we will travel to a music festival at the end of the year. This trip will cost something, depending on the overall cost, and how many members we have. 

LEGO Spike Prime Robotics Club - FLYERS WENT HOME ON 9/29/23

14 Students Maximum Enrollment - Free to Join

If you like building with LEGO and coding, this is the club for you!

Students will be able to use the school's LEGO Spike Prime robots to explore on their own or to do some challenges presented by the teacher.

Meets: Tuesday and Thursday throughout the school year

Competition season: January - April

Rehearsal Schedule

All rehearsals, choreography sessions, and competitions are Mandatory!

• Every Tuesday starting September 6th- Prompt pick up is required.

  • September: 2:20-5:30pm

  • Additional practices will be added as needed during competition season. [these are usually on Thursdays]

  • During a competition week, Tuesday and Thursday will have a full practice.

  • During competition season, if a Tuesday practice is canceled due to weather, for any reason, then Thursday will become a full practice until 5:30.
     

• Choreography Dates:  2:10-6:00pm

• • Thursday, September 28

  • Thursday, October 19

  • Thursday, November 9

  • Tuesday, November 28 (normal Tuesday practice extended until 6pm)

    • Choreography rehearsals are non-excusable. If choreography is missed, performance ability in that number will be discussed. It is expected that ALL members will attend ALL choreography sessions for the entire rehearsal!
       

• Captain’s Practices (usually optional, mandatory during competition season):

  • Thursdays: 2:20-3:30pm
